Heidrick & Struggles Vice Chair Named to NACD Directorship 100

Bonnie Gwin Makes Roster of Most Influential Corporate Governance Leaders for 12th Year 

CHICAGO, Dec. 18, 2023 – The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) has named Bonnie W. Gwin, Vice Chairman and Co-Managing Partner of the Global CEO & Board of Directors Practice, at Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII), a premier provider of global leadership advisory and on-demand talent solutions, to the 2023 Directorship 100.

This is the 12th year that Gwin has been named among the 100 most influential directors and leaders in the corporate governance community. The NACD is a recognized authority on corporate governance, setting standards of excellence that elevates board performance.

Bonnie has been with Heidrick & Struggles for nearly 27 years. She focuses on searches both at the director and CEO level across a wide range of industries. Previously, she served as president of the Americas and corporate officer responsible for Heidrick & Struggles’ operations in North and Latin America and held other roles earlier. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, she spent almost 13 years with the IBM Corporation.

She is widely quoted about leadership effectiveness at the CEO and board level, diversity, and corporate social responsibility. She also has hosted many forums with senior women around the world to discuss diversity in the boardroom. Bonnie also has received the firm’s John E. Struggles Award, its top honor given to the partner who most embodies the integrity, client focus, and partnership commitment of Heidrick & Struggles’ founder.
