Heidrick & Struggles Announces Three New Partners in London
Lucy Harris Named Partner-Consumer; Graham Smith Named Partner- Industrial and Seamus Hoar Named Partner- Legal, Risk and Compliance

CHICAGO, May 14, 2013 -- Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSII), the premier professional services firm focused on serving the leadership needs of top organizations globally, announced today three Partner appointments in its London office. Lucy Harris has been named Partner within the Consumer Practice, Graham Smith will join the Industrial Practice and Seamus Hoar rounds out the new hires in the Legal, Risk and Compliance Practice.

All three of these Partners possess extensive industry insight and depth of knowledge in each of their sectors, and understand how to create high-performing organizations as well as help clients prepare for and anticipate their future talent needs.

Most recently, in 2007 Harris co-founded The Ashton Partnership, a boutique executive search firm. Harris was responsible for Value, Mainstream and Luxury market levels focusing on Fashion, Apparel, Accessories and General Merchandise to name a few. She brings extensive experience and joined the Executive Search landscape in 1995 where she has worked as a functional retail specialist for the past 18 years. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Buyer for Harrods of London.

Smith joins Heidrick & Struggles having spent a total of 19 years with KPMG Management Consulting leading complex, transformational multi-functional engagements. He served as the global head of engineering and industrial products, and was also a founding member of the global automotive group. He will lead the manufacturing and automotive sectors for Heidrick & Struggles. Earlier, Smith held several senior industry roles including, business development at Volvo Cars, as commercial director.

Hoar was the founder and majority shareholder of the firm Hoar Marshall, a leading legal boutique search firm based in London. He focused on International law firms growing in the UK. In his new role at Heidrick & Struggles, he will take the lead on developing the legal professional services market in the UK.
