CHICAGO, Dec. 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq:HSII), the leadership advisory firm providing Executive Search and Leadership Consulting services worldwide, today announced a realignment of the company's organizational structure and operating model to further build on its strategy of providing integrated solutions to C-suite and board level executives. Three veteran Heidrick & Struggles consultants will now assume elevated regional leadership positions with expanded responsibilities, including managing growth and profitability across each region. The new regional leaders are:
- Jory Marino, Americas
- Luis Urbano, Europe
- Steve Mullinjer, Asia Pacific

Marino, Urbano and Mullinjer will work closely with the firm's Practice Leaders, to ensure that Heidrick & Struggles continues to distinguish itself in the market by delivering unparalleled industry expertise and superior client service. Collectively, this group will provide clients access to the company's full spectrum of integrated leadership solutions. This structure will enhance connectivity across the platform, ultimately leading to a more comprehensive client experience and longer-term client relationships.
Marino has consistently been one of the top performers at Heidrick & Struggles and serves as Vice Chairman and a senior member of the firm's Financial Services Practice. He previously held a number of leadership positions at the firm, including head of the New York office, the Northeast U.S. and North America. Marino joined the firm in 1999 and is based in New York.
Urbano joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2002 as a Partner in the Consumer Services Practice and in 2010 was named Global Managing Partner for the Consumer Markets Practice. He is also a partner in the CEO & Board of Directors Practice, based in Madrid.
Mullinjer currently leads Heidrick & Struggles' business in Asia and the Middle East. His responsibilities have been expanded to include Australia and New Zealand. He also oversees the firm's Private Equity Practice in the region. Mullinjer joined the firm in 2000 and spent the last 20 years living and working in China. He is based in Shanghai.
