Heidrick & Struggles Names Industrial Sector Leadership

CHICAGO – DECEMBER 5, 2012 – Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq:HSII), the leadership advisory firm providing executive search and leadership consulting services worldwide, today announced the appointment of three Global Sector Leaders in the Industrial Practice. The appointments are made as part of a global strategy designed to further increase and integrate Leadership Advisory services into the Industrial Practice's expanding client portfolio worldwide.

Jon Boyle will lead Transportation & Logistics; Claire Skinner will oversee Energy, Infrastructure & Sustainability; and Luigi Slaviero will lead Natural Resources.

    Based in Dubai, Boyle is a 12-year veteran of the firm. His appointment signifies an important step for the Transportation & Logistics sector – his airlines, airports, maritime and rail expertise will not only strengthen, but expand Practice reach. Boyle’s leadership, backed by Heidrick & Struggles’ commitment to invest in the sector, positions the firm for the anticipated growth in the coming months and years. 

    Skinner is the leader of the Industrial Practice in London and has gained the reputation as an exceptional team player. She focuses on building executive and non-executive teams for a wide range of clients across the energy & utility supply chain, including alternative energy, environmental infrastructure, resource efficiency, clean technology, and sustainable agriculture. Skinner also has significant experience in senior sustainability appointments within major corporations, government and non-profit organizations. Finally, Skinner is a recognized voice within the industrial space. 

    Paris-based Slaviero has effectively been leading the Natural Resources sector comprising Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining & Metals and Agrisectorfor the past year, developing unique ways to breakdown the addressable market. He brings insightful global experience and a proven ability to build and develop strong, performance-orientated teams. Slaviero speaks eight languages – he is fluent in Dutch, Italian, French and English, is comfortable with Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian and German – a unique skill that allows him to work seamlessly with international clients.
