CHICAGO, Aug. 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq:HSII), the leadership advisory firm providing executive search and leadership consulting services worldwide, today announced that Frank Morogiello has joined the firm as Partner within the Industrial Practice. He is based in the firm's Dallas office.

Morogiello will be serving Industrial clients globally, focusing on key relationships within aviation and the broader business community; he will also leverage his experience in the travel and tourism segments, as well as his considerable sales and marketing experience.

Morogiello comes to Heidrick & Struggles with more than 30 years of experience in the travel sector, the majority of which was spent with American Airlines. During his tenure, he held a number of roles with increasing responsibility spanning both operations and commercial roles. Morogiello was viewed as the sales leader for American Airlines in his most recent role as Vice President of Global Sales, where he led a large team of executives focused on major corporate agencies, military, group and meeting accounts.

From 2005 to 2007, he was Vice President Global Sales and Oneworld/ Alliance Sales. In this role, he directed all sales and marketing efforts with American's 27 airline partners.

Additionally, Morogiello serves on the Board of Directors and is Chair Elect for the Texas Tourism Industry Association and has been a featured speaker and panelist at top aviation and travel conferences around the world. Morogiello received his bachelor's degree from Wagner College and also completed the executive program at The University of Illinois at Chicago Business School with a concentration in finance.
