We are thrilled that this has been recognized."
Commenting on the news of his inclusion, David Boehmer said, "The backgrounds and talent of the YGLs is overwhelming. It is a true honor. This is an exciting time for our generation of leaders, and I hope that we can bring about effective global change for the future."

These assessments were taken by the selection committee, chaired by H.M. Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to narrow the selection to the final 192 honorees.
For 2012, WEF has selected 192 YGLs from 59 countries; 41 percent are women. The 2012 class hails from East Asia (38), South Asia (19), Europe (46), Middle East and North Africa (15), sub-Saharan Africa (18), North America (37) and Latin America (19).
