Heidrick & Struggles Appoints Five New Vice Chairmen

Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq:HSII), the leadership advisory firm providing executive search and leadership consulting services worldwide, today announced the appointment of five new Vice Chairmen: Theodore L. Dysart, Bonnie Gwin, Lee Hanson, Jory Marino, and Jeff Sanders.

Heidrick & Struggles Vice Chairmen Appointees:

Theodore L. Dysart (Chicago) is a functional specialist working exclusively on board, CEO and succession planning engagements. Ranked by BusinessWeek as one of the 150 most influential head hunters in the world, he has placed more then 500 executives on the boards of Fortune 500, mid-cap and private companies. For three years he has been named to the Directorship 100, a listing of the most influential individuals in corporate governance by NACD Directorship magazine. Mr. Dysart serves on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago and the Board of Trustees of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Bonnie Gwin (New York) is Managing Partner, North America of the Board of Directors Practice and focuses on searches both at the director and CEO level across a wide range of industries. Ms. Gwin is widely quoted and speaks frequently on diversity in the boardroom as well as Board and CEO Succession trends and best practices. She was also named by NACD Directorship to the Directorship 100 2010 list. Ms. Gwin is currently a national board member and Chairman of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.

Lee Hanson (San Francisco) is a senior member of the CEO and Board practices. She also works extensively across the financial services industry as well as on the firm's most significant General Counsel assignments. She was a member of the firm's first Partner-elected Global Partnership Council and has held several leadership roles in the firm. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Analysis Group, Inc., and is a former Vice President of the Board of the Financial Women's Association of San Francisco.

Jory Marino (New York) is a senior member of the Global Financial Services Practice and focuses on general management and senior level technology and operations assignments for global banks, investment banks, trading, asset management, and diversified financial services companies. With more than thirty years of executive search experience, Mr. Marino is widely recognized as an authority on leadership and talent within financial services. During his tenure with the firm, Mr. Marino has also held a variety of other leadership roles to include Managing Partner, North America; Managing Partner, Northeast; Global CIO Practice Managing Partner; Managing Partner, Functional Practices and member of the Firm's Executive Committee.

Jeff Sanders (Menlo Park) is Managing Partner of the North American CEO Practice. He is responsible for the firm's focus in North America on CEO succession planning. He has executed a number of CEO, COO and Board of Director searches. In 2010, Mr. Sanders was named to Fortune magazine's "40 under 40 -- Ones to Watch."
