HOUSTON, Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq:HSII), the premier provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping worldwide, strengthens its oil, gas and power expertise in its global Industrial Practice with the addition of David Pruner. He will be based at the firm's Houston office.
Pruner joins Heidrick & Struggles from Wood Mackenzie, a global research and strategic advisory firm specializing in the energy, chemicals, metals and mining industries, where he has been a senior vice president for the past 12 years. Previously, he served as President of J.M. Huber Resource Services, Inc., a natural resources and specialty chemicals firm.

Pruner earned a Masters of Finance at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business after graduating with a Bachelors in Psychology from Southern Methodist University.
