Sylvain Dhenin to Lead Regional Practice as Managing Partner

ZURICH, May 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII), a premier provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping worldwide, strengthens its CEO & Board leadership team by naming Sylvain Dhenin as head of Continental Europe for the Global CEO and Board Practice. Dhenin is based in the firm's Zurich office and will report to Bonnie Gwin and Jeff Sanders, Co-Managing Partners of the Global CEO & Board Practice. Dhenin also continues in his leadership role as Managing Partner of Western Europe.

Since joining the firm in 2015, Dhenin has been working closely to advise and serve clients at the highest leadership levels across Europe.

Dhenin also served as Managing Partner of another executive search firm, leading its operations in France. He began his career at Danone, the multi-national food products company.

Over the course of his career, Dhenin has recruited CEOs, C-suite executives and non-executive directors for some of the world's leading companies. He has extensive experience in a broad range of industries, including industrial, financial services, pharmaceutical, technology, media and telecommunications, professional services and private equity.

Dhenin has been named to BusinessWeek's Top 50 List of the "World's Most Influential Headhunters." He holds a Business Degree from the High Business School of Bordeaux, a leading business school in France.
